Dan Brown or some combination of him and his wife is/are John Twelve Hawks. The writing style is similar, the descriptions feel the same and the pacing also follows pattern. Considering that they share the same editor at Doubleday and NO info can be found on John Twelve Hawks b/c he lives "off the grid" makes it all the more suspicious. Perhaps Brown is pulling the old Stephen King/Richard Bachman move in order to put his naysayers to rest. It would just seem odd that Kauffman (the editor) would take on such a project where he had to communicated with a first time author in such odd manners if there wasn't something more to it...perhaps this is also the underlying reason behind the delay of "The Solomon Key."
