Just posted this book excerpt on my Dan Brown news site The Cryptex:
"Mysteries of the Great Seal"
Thought CoDB readers might enjoy it while waiting for that 'other' book...

Kind regards, Greg

For true information, and the REAL members of the committee's, simply go to www.greatseal.com
NO, its NOT a masonic site. There was only ONE Mason on the committee--Ben. Thomas Jefferson was never on it...neither was Adams.
Now, I am only a 32nd degree Mason, and a Knight Templar, Past Master, Past High Priest, Past Thrice Illustrious Master, etc, so--could someone explain to me what the "13 courses of Masonry" is? I have never heard of it.
Oh well. Conspiracies keep us on our feet. I just wish folks would look up the facts.

Oh, by the way, Manly Hall WAS a 33rd degree mason. HOWEVER, he did NOT become a mason until 1954--31 years AFTER he wrote the Lost keys of Freemasonry and Secret Teachings of all Ages!!!! That means, of course, that ALL HIS WRITINGS ON MASONRY OCCURRED BEFORE HE WAS A MASON.
And that means that his writing have NO authority whatsoever. Since no one speaks for masonry, its a moot point anyway.
