Ya know what? I put this book down at the beginning too and considered returning it to the library without finishing it BUT I am so glad I didn't. It does start off a bit slow compared to his other work but once you get into the reason that Rachel is out there and the introduction of more characters, you won't want to put this one down! Seriously, please finish it, it's worth the first few boring chapters.

Read it, why get a book and then put it down, in most books the best bit is at the end, so putting it down at the beginning is stupid.

On the other hand, why waste time reading a book you aren't enjoying when you could be reading something you like better? It's exactly what I stopped reading The Confessions of Max Tivoli.

I almost put down Digital Fortress, but persevered. Not too bad in the end. I would rank DB's books in the following order: 1) Angels and Demons 2) The Da Vinci Code 3) Deception Point 4) Digital Fortress
