reasons not to try to "make an impact":
Quite a few years ago a pastor in Florida was speaking about evils of youth gang violence. He felt his words were not enough to get the message across and decided a demonstration was required to drive his point home. To demonstrate he put a revolver to his own head chambered for .38SPL (which was loaded with blank cartridges) and pulled the trigger.
He died on the scene by the time emergency medical service technicians arrived.

Bonjour! I was so glad to find a forum for Dan Brown's books. I've been wanting to read the Da vinci code for ages and I finally bought it up two weeks ago. I've since then finished that and Angels & Demons (and wondered to myself why I hadn't gotten them sooner). My next one will be Deseption point.
