Hi, my name is Christina. I am 18 years old and from Germany. I'm still in school and that really sucks *lol* After that I want to study to become a minister. I joined this board because I'm a huge fan of Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons". I also liked DVC but I didn't always agree with the content. I read "Digital Fortress" and "Desception Point", too but I didn't like them a lot. Probably because of the bad german translation and I only read A&D in original english.

Wilkomen, both of you! Sorry, I think that's the extent of my German, and I am not sure I even spelled it correctly. But, in any case, Welcome!

Hi, everyone!
New to this... just registered today. It's the day before spring break so I gave my students a test (final on Romeo and Juliet... how exciting (NOT)). At least it's quiet!
The Grassy Knoll and Dealy Plaza are no big deal. By that I mean that the city treats them like nothing historical ever happened. One would think there would be historical markers all over the place.

Hiya, Cosette. I would've thought there'd be markers in Dallas too. At least memorial markers. Strange.

Angels & Demons! One of my all time favorite reads! What a ride!
I keep hearing people say Dan Brown's not all that good of a writer. I don't get it. If a writer can keep me glued to the story then as far as I'm concerned he/she is a good writer. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for the kind of stuff Brown writes about in DVC and Angels.
I'm a writer, too. I've been published in magazines like Fate and Beyond but my first novel was just released a few months ago. It's called The Ezekiel Code. A lot of people see the title and think it must be a cheap rip-off of DVC. But it's a totally different story. About the only similarity between them is the word "Code" in the title. Besides, I started writing it about 10 years ago! I ain't no Dan Brown but hey - it's my first novel! Gimme a break!
Glad I stumbled onto this site. Looks like it might be a cool place to hang out.

Aloha from Hawaii
I have a strong interest in alchemy.
Has anyone here seen a connection between Dan's work and alchemy?
Kind regards
Arion
