Oooh, maybe you could visit the infamous Dallas catacombs and search for hidden treasures.

This imaginary travel itinerary is bought to you by Mudpuppy Travel, where reality is no limitation.

This is like my 5th trip to Dallas and all I've ever wanted to do is go to the Book Depository and Grassy Knoll at Dealy Plaza, but I'm always busy all day and I don't want to do down there at night. Sigh..one of these days.

I mean, speaking of conspiracy theories...JKF...single bullet???....I don't think so.

Hiya, Sephia. Anything else you'd like to say about yourself? I suppose we haven't set a very good example. The first, oh, maybe ten or so registered users are friends of ours, so they didn't feel obligated to talk about themselves. They'll remedy that...won't they? (<--- insert evil graemlin here - that reminds me, I need to add a bunch of graemlins)

I wouldn't want AAnnAArchy angry with me, so I'll introduce myself and say that I'm Mudpuppy. I'm AAnnAArchy's partner, and was introduced to Dan Brown when AAnn bought "Angels & Demons" with an Amazon gift certificate she received for her birthday. I loved the book and quickly devoured the other three. I've always enjoyed history, so this has introduced me to a whole genre of books which I never really knew existed -- historical fiction. I'm Canadian but live in Las Vegas, NV... I like our multitude of pets, and Canadian things, like chocolate and hockey. Today I'm cooking our Thanksgiving turkey, just a few days late

We hope this board will be a place where people feel comfortable stopping by, leaving comments or questions, and perhaps picking up a suggestion about a new book they'd like to read. The site sort of takes a backseat to our multitude of other projects, but we promise the final product will be worth the wait!

Okay, I've made you rich - your fame will have to wait until another day.

Okay, I suppose I'll introduce myself. Like Mudpuppy said, we live in Las Vegas with our multitude of pets. You can see them if you check out the link in my profile.

I was really hooked on Angels & Demons, but real life took hold while I was reading the Da Vinci Code, so it took me forever to finish it. I love all of the symbology stuff and surprised myself by actually being interested in the religious aspects of both books. I'm a cultural Jew (read: I like Hanukkah for the gifts ) and a general all around heathen. I don't understand really religious folks, but I find the history of it all interesting.

I was born in S. California, but most of my family lives in Vegas now, so here I am. If Bush is re-elected, I'll consider moving to Canada. They have better chocolate and they fire their homophobic politicians, instead of praising them. http://canada.com/national/story.asp?id=7C471F0C-AD62-4952-ACF2-64B43A21557B

I spend most of my time online, either working or playing - TiVo makes sure I never miss my favorite shows.

I'm feeling totally uninspired right now, so I'll try to edit this bio in the future and make it more interesting.

Okay - I got the hint...

My name is Tim - I'm originally from San Francisco, but Victor and I moved to Pennsylvania almost 3 years ago. we have a dog, named Cybil who we adopted from the Chester County SPCA in September.

I love history and mysteries - I really enjoy old British mysteries from the 1930's - Dorothy L Sayers, Agatha Christie (I read all of them many years ago...) but usually read for mindless entertainment - not for gaining smarts...

Religion is also a fascination for me - which is strange because I'm an atheist. But I do enjoy the inner workings of religion and the history behind them.

I got the name TahoeT when I first joined AOL back in 1992-ish. One was limited to an 8 character name and every variation of TIM had already been taken - and I didn't want a bunch of numbers after my name. Since I had lived in Tahoe for several years, I typed it in and it worked - I've been TahoeT ever since, even though I left AOL years and years ago...

Okay - 'nuff for now.....

Wow, looks like I found a cool niche. Like AAnAArchy, I am a cultural Jew who believes in something totally different and like TahoeT, religion and religious history are a pet fascination which I never get tired of arguing. I haven't read "Angels& Demons" yet b/c the library is taking forever to get it.
Ummm...what else, I am a high school senior from Massachusetts who considers herself more mature than I should be and if anyone wants more info, www.xanga.com/sephia is my website/webjournal thing.

Hey there! My name is Bri, I live in Utah, go to school in PA. Ummm, I play soccer and basketball for my school. I love music, tv (BUFFY! yeah, I'm a member of the Iyari Limon board), and contrary to popular belief I can read and also enjoy it when I get the time. I have only read Angels & Demons by Dan Brown, but being a poor college student I have to wait until The Da Vinci Code is available at the library or hope someone gets it for me for Christmas (hint hint). I guess that's really all for now, if there are any questions I would be happy to answer them, or possibly make up an answer. Either way.
