Anyone know how many books have been written in an attempt to refute Dan's "novel"? Me go giddy at the number... from Evangelisto to Vaticano! Refuting Dan has become an industry. He shall give work even unto the sinner!

Oh my god. I don't know the person who wrote the German article, but I can tell you he/she wasn't German. There are so many grammar and spelling mistakes, it's unbelieveable. The Sekret Survice, that one's just great! What he(she wanted to say was Secret Service... This is the German one after I checked spelling and grammar...

Sein Vater war Mathematiker, der einen Präsidenten Preis (I don't know what this is, and I am German!) bekommen hat. Seine Mutter hat professionell Religionsmusik dargeboten. Seine Ehefrau war Spezialistin auf dem Giebet der Kunstgeschichte und auch Malerin.
Jetzt ist Dan Brown als Schriftsteller weltbekannt. Alles hat im Jahre 1995 begonnen, als der Dozent in der Universität seine Vorlesung hielt. Da sind ohne Warnung Agenten des Secret Service gekommen und haben einen von den Studenten verhaftet, weil er eine Gefahr für die nationale Sicherheit war. Die "Gefahr" war, dass dieser Student eine E-mail an einen Freund geschickt hat, in der schreibt, dass er Präsident Kennedy sehr hasst und dieser erschossen werden muss. Der Secret Service hat einige Fragen an ihn gestellt und dann haben sie ihn freigelassen. Und das war das Ende der Geschichte. Aber Dan Brown hat sich nur eine Frage gestellt....wie konnte der Secret Service über diese E-mail Bescheid wissen und warum überhaupt wissen sie das, wie kann das sein?! Er hat sich dafür sehr interessiert und je mehr Information er suchte, desto interessantere Dinge fand er. Er hat über sehr grosse Organisationen erfahren, deren Name war Organisation der Nationalen Sicherheit. Auf dieser Basis hat er entschieden, einen Roman zu schreiben.
Er hat Glück gehabt, als er in elektronischen Foren auf Leute, die in dieser Organisation gearbeitet haben und die ihm einige harmlose Informationen darüber gaben traf. So hatte er Schritt für Schritt seinen ersten Roman `Zifferburg` veröffentlicht.
Er hat nie in diesem Bereich gearbeitet, war unbekannt und hat entschieden, seinen Roman im Internet zu veröffentlichen und alle werden aus dem Internet sein Roman rausgehen von Website gegen Bezahlung. Das hatte sehr grossen Erfolg. Bald hat `Saint Martins Press` Verlag das Buch wirklich veröffentlicht. Später haben Dan Brown und Verlag `Poket Buks` in einem Verlag gearbeitet. Das nächste Buch war `Die sechste Klage`. Eine gute Mischung von Wissenschaft, Geschichte und Kunst und meiner Meinung auch persönliche Vermutungen und Theorien. Endlich beginnt Dan Brown sein Roman `Sakrileg-The da Vinci Code`, der zu dieser Zeit sehr bekannt ist. Erst ist er nur 5000fach gedruckt und dann noch 5000fach usw.
