If you could pick one of Dan Brown's Books to be made into a movie, which book would it be? I think Digital Fortress would be one of the movies that follow the book closely, because the other ones have too much stuff that filmmakers wouldn't want to spend that much time on, like explaining stuff and talking about history. So yeah, Digital Fortress is my pick.

I'd have to go for Angels and demons. It is one of the more exciting books, with a lot of death, blood, and chases, all the stuff that Hollywood likes, and I really liked the plot.

Yea, that is true. 1. Angels & Demons. 2. Digital Fortress 3. Probably Deception Point, Which would be a better movie released in an election year. and 4. Da Vinci code, even though it would be a good movie, alot of the info would be left out. That's what I think.

Even though it looks like the powers-that-be chose the Da Vinci Code, my choice would also be Angels & Demons, which is my favorite of all of the books.

I think Angels and Demons too. The book is filled with suspense and would be good as a movie. Not as much would be left out of the film as DVC if it was made. I think that both of the books should be made into films, to show the full story of Robert Langdon.

i too prefer A&D over the other books. DVC is good, but it has loads and loads of history to be explained (eg the bit where they go to see Teabing), which would probably be mostly skipped in the movie so it would end up making little or no sense

Either that, or they will just explain ALL of the history and miss out all of the action.

Angels and Demons. no contest. Thats got to be the best book I've ever read. Not only would it be the prettiest one (Vatican city architecture and artwork....im salivating at the thought) but it would probably be the most well recieved one by people who havent read the book.

I would hope, that in the wake of any success the Davinci Code has on the big screen that they'd get the team together again and do Angels and Demons. I'd love to see Antonio Banderas play Carlo Ventresca...you know what I said in another thread about Robert not being written has handsome -- well, the Camerlengo is!

I really think Deception Point would be a great movie, I love all of his books and think they would all make good movies, but Deception Point was the first book of his that I had read and that's the book that made me realize he is my favorite Author aside from Tolkien.

A+D, DVC, DF, DP, he has (or had) a thing for Ds, didn't he, and then he lost it all in the SK!

I would love to see a film of Deeception Point, there would be loads of great special effects and with the right actors and actresses I think the chemistry between Mike and Rachael would be great to see on screen

I think so. I think the point is: we don't *really* know where the Grail is now. Not for sure. So, in this sense, the true location of the Grail is left hanging...

well, it seems pretty obvious that at the end of DVC, Langdon is sure it's at the Louvre. After all, he seems to hear her whispering her wisdom to him or something.
