Based on what DB said about the next book, I wonder if this book I found at Borders will be cited: The Secret Architecture of Our Nation's Capital: The Masons and the Building of Washington, D.C. by David Ovason

I really do hope it is as good (if not better than his current books) - which I'm sure it will be.

Hi all, I am new to this forum (love the site). Has anyone picked up the illustrated Da Vinci Code? It is well worth the $$. I am also wondering, is the book everyone is talking about coming out in 2005 the one about the Masons?

Dan says there's no official release date because it's no where near as being completed. But I hope it comes out soon. Can't wait!

I need the book now! I have read DVC, A+D, DF and DP and I am now using this forum as a stop-gap to ward of the withdrawal symptoms!

Tim, just wondering where you got that info that it isn't complete.... i personally believe that he is waiting for the film to be released. also, dvc sales are still strong ...so why undermine it with the next book ... but these are only my speculation.

(new to the site) so will the next book db release be the sequal to dvc or is he in the mist of writing something else? i'm on the tips of my toes waiting for the second book, in an article i read it mentions that langdon will be a detective(pretty much figures)

Wow, I didn't even know he was writing another book. Where have I been?! If I were to guess, I'd say that DB's next book will venture away from the DVC, but you've always got to expect the unexpected with this guy.

there are other forums up here that discuss the future book, it will be titled "the solomon key" but i've read somewhere that most likely the title will be changed, but i know it will still revolve around langdon.

Have you read David's book The Secret Symbols of the Dollar Bill?
