I have read DVC, A&D, DF, and now am going to read this one. Are there anyothers? I didn't see any listed. Does Dan Brown have aliases?

As far as I know, these are all the books he has on the market... and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have an alias. But if you enjoy this genre, I could recommend a few... if, perhaps, you haven't read them yet...:)

That's all, not counting the book he is curntly working on, but there are other books, sich as "The Rule of Four" and "The Name of the Rose" that are similar.

Books by Matthew Reilly are sort of similar, but don't really go into depth about history or art etc. Do you think 'The Rule of Four' will be available in England?

The Rule of Four is for sale at amazon.co.uk, so I imagine it's probably in stores there too.

Ta. I'm quite annoyed that I don't have time to read anymore. I've just started my A-Levels and have entered work overload! I used to read at least one book a week, but now its about one a month.

Matthew Reilly, in my opinion, is worse than Dan Brown. This guy has a problem with attention deficit disorder in his writing. Short sentences, the majority of his paragraphs being one or two lines in length, exclamation marks for no reason, and many incorrect usages of italics (i.e. emphasising the wrong words). Bad narration, too.
He's a self-published author, primarily, and it shows. One of the short stories on his website, named The Mine, is seventeen pages long and, within those seventeen pages, Reilly gives us forty (!) individually titled chapters.
He had the cheek, when he was about twenty-six, to moan on his website about how he wasn't considered for the young Australian writer award. He based it on the belief that because he doesn't write poetic prose that the panel showed bias against him. What he did with that statement was show a total disregard for literature in thinking that a book has to be poetic to be considered worthy by critics; good solid writing without a glimmer of pretension is worthy also. It's just that Reilly isn't capable of even that.

DP was ,in my opinion, the best of the 4 dan brown books. DF seemed a bit rough around the edges, but i think it was an amazing achievement for a 1st novel. DVC and AD were excellent books, but Deception Point Rules all!:)
