It simulates a caesar's square. Instead of writing out the square yourself, this tool will do it for you. So... "The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown" works out to "TaibB3VCyrhioDoendawDcenn". The tool adds some characters, when needed, to create the perfect square needed, but that just makes the code more difficult to break, or at least more confusing.

It worked for me. Some of the ones it came up with didn't fit when I undid them, though. Even removing the ramdom letters and numbers left me with a jumble of letters, not my orignal message.

perfect square of 25. arrange the letters 5 lines of 5 letters each. read them downward from left to right and you get a web site.
